Scorpion Reservation

Medolife has established a first-of-its-kind scorpion reservation on the Caribbean island of Hispaniola. Every effort has been made to ensure that the blue scorpion is given an environment which is similar to its life in the wild.

No artificial feed or hormones are given to the scorpions. They live as they would in the wild, though they are protected against predators.

Our staff makes sure that their numbers are not too great as to have an unnatural effect upon the environment. The blue scorpion is milked for its serum once every 30 days and then transferred into another section of the reservation to ensure that they are not over-milked which could cause undue stress upon the scorpions.
